3rd Tree Planting Action for Antwerp Bike Tours

At Antwerp Bike Tours, we believe in giving back to the city and the environment that makes our job so rewarding. That’s why, for the third time in two years in a row—and for the first time in 2025—we are proudly continuing our tree-planting initiative! This time the location was in Roosdaal, Belgium.

For every bike tour we organize, whether for corporate teams or individual travelers, we plant trees to offset the carbon footprint of their visit to Antwerp. We see this as our way of keeping things sustainable, ensuring that future generations can enjoy the beauty of this city just as much as we do today.

But there’s more to it than just carbon offsetting. We like to think of this initiative as our alternative way of paying “taxes” to Belgium—not just in euros, but in environmental action. This country gives us the incredible opportunity to share its rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant culture with visitors from all over the world. Planting trees is our way of saying thank you to Antwerp and to Belgium for being such an awesome place to live and work.
